This will be the third international conference on the subject of quantum dots following the successful conferences in Munich (2000) and Tokyo (2002). The aim of the conference is to advance the field of nano-technology and provide a forum for scientists from different disciplines including physics, chemistry, materials science and engineering to discuss fabrication techniques, optical and transport properties as well as applications of quantum dots, nano-crystals, and clusters. One of the principle goals of the conference is to bring together different quantum dot communities engaged in research on nano-crystals, self-assembled dots, and gated structures, and to stimulate progress by combining the expertise developed in each community.
On-line registration will open in the new year. The Full Registration fee will not exceed $600 CAD.
